In the event of a crisis, please use the crisis lines provided. This page is to support the Palisades community in identifying a variety of national, state and regional mental health organizations and resources. This list is not designed to be inclusive of all options. Please contact your healthcare provider and/or your child’s counselor to discuss your specific concerns and targeted support services.

For TTY, dial 724-631-5600The Department of Human Services (DHS) announced the launch of a statewide Support & Referral Helpline that will be available 24/7 to assist Pennsylvanians struggling with anxiety and other challenging emotions due to the COVID-19 emergency and refer them to community-based resources that can further help to meet individual needs.

  • 988 Suicide Prevention Lifeline - On July 16, the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline was launched. It's a critical new resource for those struggling with mental health and other crisis situations.10-digit National Suicide Prevention Lifeline is now 988. Talk Lines

  • Peer support talk line - voice: 855-715-8255 or text: 267-225-7785From 1:00pm - 9:00 pm daily.  In a moment of need, Peer Specialists can help with something as simple as a breathing exercise, reducing anxiety and helping to create a sense of calmness.
