Bucks County D.A. Joe Khan inspires PHS students

Palisades High School was honored to welcome Bucks County District Attorney Joe Khan for an engaging visit with approximately 50 students from AP English and History classes, along with members of Student Government.

District Attorney Khan shared experiences from his career as both a federal and state prosecutor, as well as the personal and educational journey that led him to where he is today. He spoke candidly with students about current events and some of the challenges facing our communities, particularly at the intersection of technology, the law, and the world around us. His advice to students as they navigate their own futures was simple and memorable: “Be curious.”

Following the discussion, District Attorney Khan toured Palisades High School (PHS) and had an opportunity to see several programs that make PHS unique. His stops included the Pirate’s Pier Café, where students in our Journeys program develop valuable workplace and employability skills; the Cybersonics engineering lab space; and PSD TV, our state-of-the-art television studio.

Throughout the visit, students asked thoughtful questions and engaged District Attorney Khan in meaningful conversation, while also giving him an opportunity to learn more about Palisades and the Upper Bucks community.

The district is grateful to District Attorney Khan for spending time with the students, sharing his experiences and perspective, and encouraging them to remain curious, engaged, and open to where their own journeys may lead.
