HELP NEEDED FOR THE PHS SPRING MUSICAL:
The following non-athletic EDR is available at the Palisades High School for the balance of the 2024/2025 school year. Stipend amount is $1320. By January 19, 2025 all interested candidates must email their letter of interest, resume, clearances (Acts 24, 34, 114, and 151, current within a year) and disclosure form(s) to Mr. Richard Heffernan, Principal at Palisades High School at [email protected] EOE
Requirements and Job Responsibilities:
Work with Students on stage set up, movement and lighting.
Provide instruction for use of lighting system.
Maintain all lighting equipment and cables.
Program lighting Board.
Design and set lighting for musicals.
Work with power lift for changing lighting.
Work with power cords, cables and circuits to balance lighting loads.
Work with fly rigging.
Preferably prior accompanist experience.
Clearances will be required prior to beginning employment. Clearances may take up to two
weeks for processing, so we strongly encourage interested applicants to start this process immediately. Required clearances include: Acts 24, 34, 114 & 151 (dated within the past 12 months of the closing date of this posting. Complete clearances for “employment” not “volunteer”) and disclosure form(s) Act 168.
Palisades requires a pre-employment drug test as a condition of employment.

Pierogi Sale: The Trek Club is running one more Bayou pierogi sale this year! The online shop will be open from 1/6-1/20 and the pierogies will be delivered on 2/6. Here is the link to order. When ordering, friends and family can designate a particular Trekker by adding child's name when they are filling out the form. If they want to support the Trek program overall, you can enter "TREK" or leave that space blank.

2025-26 Technical School Application is OPEN:
Students interested in attending the Upper Bucks County Technical School for the 2025-26 school year must complete an online application. The completion of the application is only necessary for students that will be new to the Technical school. The application is available using this link and should be completed by January 31. Completed applications are required to be considered for all shop areas. Videos are available to review the programs through their website and students/parents are encouraged to view videos for shops for which they are interested in applying.
Again, returning Technical School students DO NOT need to complete the application. ONLY those who did not attend the Technical school this year must complete the application.

FORMER WOMEN'S BASKETBALL TEAM MEMBERS SOUGHT: As you may know, Palisades High School’s former Girl’s Basketball Coach, Robert Heinsohn, died on July 28, 2024. His will benefited some of his former basketball players, who we are trying locate.
