Jacob Wasser

WHAT ARE THEY UP TO NOW?

Jacob Wasser (PHS Class of 2016) is currently ranked 5th in the nation at 157 pounds and was the top seed in his National qualifier.  He advanced into the semi-finals in his bid to qualify for Nationals for the second year in a row; because of COVID restrictions, they are only taking the champions.  The latest news is that Jacob is seeded 3rd for this weekend's Nationals!  Proud to be a former Pirate!

Palisades Cyber Academy

DID YOU KNOW...

While the district has had a cyber program for over a decade, earlier this school year, we were able to pivot and create a consistent elementary cyber academy where nine Palisades teachers are teaching using the approved-curriculum, in step with our face-to-face teachers and classrooms.  Our middle school teachers are each teaching at least one virtual period, which affords our middle level learners to receive the same coursework as our face-to-face students.  High school students are able to live stream into classes (with prior approval) or choose from a cadre of online courses offered for this level.
Currently enrolled in a cyber charter school (not Palisades) and wish to enroll in the Palisades Cyber Academy, please contact the Community Relations Office at 610-847-5131, ext. 2401 or email [email protected]

WEBSITE UPDATE: The link at the bottom left of our homepage will direct you to the district’s notification dashboard only - CLICK HERE FOR YOUR PSD UPDATE

REMINDER TO...

Kindly notify our nurses of any COVID-related developments at [email protected] - this is extremely important and allows us the opportunity to quickly perform a case investigation and execute the necessary follow up if as a positive case is reported.
FREE TAX ASSISTANCE FROM THE BUCKS COUNTY OPPORTUNITY COUNCIL:

The Bucks County Opportunity Council (BCOC) is offering free tax assistance this year for those who made $57,000 or less in 2020.

See our website for more information: https://bcoc.org/vita-volunteer-income-tax-assistance/

Because many AARP tax sites are closed, we are filling up quickly for the season, but scheduling online is the easiest way to get an appointment. We are scheduling well into March at this time.

The winner will receive a $300 prize and be acknowledged with a proclamation from the Bucks County Commissioners.  In addition, the Bucks County High School Poet of the Year runners-up and finalists will give a live virtual reading. Mentioning the contest and public reading on college applications will demonstrate initiative, writing skills, and public speaking experience. Clearly, there’s a lot to gain from entering the contest.

The application process is easy and there is no entry fee.
