Cybersonics at Lehigh U

Today, we had the good fortune of being able to get out to Lehigh University to watch our Cybersonics Tech Team 103 compete in the Mid-Atlantic Regional Competition for F.I.R.S.T. Robotics!  There were about 60 teams competing, and they will be there through Saturday.  The game played by the robots built by these teams required the robots to perform many tasks including placing a plastic cover on a hole for a holding tower for beach ball sized balls, placing these large balls in the holding tower and finally climbing back onto a podium when the round was ending - points are tallied for various level of completion by the robots!  The talent of the students involved with our Cybersonics team is top-notch, and they were in the top ten when we were leaving the competition today!

Katie Holmes and Athletic Dept.

Best of luck to trainer, Katie Holmes (pictured above with our Athletic Dept. staff), who has taken the Head Athletic Training job at Pocono Mountain West Middle School. For those of you who have been around our athletic programs during the past few years, you would have come across a one-of-a kind trainer. Katie has not only been a great athletic trainer, but she has been a special part of the Palisades community. She always did more than her job description detailed and did so with a smile.  We wish her the very best and hope that she come back and visit! Thank you Katie!

PAGSL Equipment Donation-Softball Spring Cleaning

Most of our players don't wear out of their gear, they usually grow out of it. And the next stop is the garage or basement. Please consider donating any softball equipment you have to Palisades Area Girls Softball League (PAGSL).

PAGSL is holding a softball equipment donation where you can donate “gently used” and clean equipment by Saturday, April 13th (helmets, gloves, bats, cleats, pants, practice balls) Just email us at [email protected] or bring the items to the next indoor that we have scheduled.

Help younger players to get their start in our great sport, and thank you for considering it!
