Our Band of Pirates Team Roster Includes community members and our own 12th grade basketball players. as well as Teachers, Administrators and Staff Members like:

WRESTLING NEWS: LADIES FIRST...
Last weekend was State Qualifiers for youth division. Savannah Witt won the Area XI 100lb Girls division and will be headed to the state competition in March. The girls division takes only one girl from each of 14 areas in the state. Photo above is Savannah Witt pictured with Palisades Youth Wrestling Coach Jason Magditch. Nicely done Savannah!
MORE JUNIOR HIGH WRESTLING NEWS!
Congratulations to our Junior High Wrestlers who competed this past weekend in the District XI Junior High Wrestling Tournament. It was a tough weekend against both AA and AAA schools. Nate Armstrong, Alex Armstrong, Logan Winters, Ashton Campbell, Lincoln Hower, Danny Haubert, and Riley Campbell gave it their all against some tough area competition. Congrats to our three place winners: Ashton Campbell (1st), Danny Haubert (2nd), and Lincoln Hower (3rd). We are so proud of you! A special thanks to Coach Matt and Coach Nick for all of their support of our boys!
SHOUT OUT TO OUR POETRY CONTEST SEMI-FINALIST, MADELINE SMITH:
Congratulations to PHS sophomore Madeline Smith, who has been chosen as a semi-finalist in the Lake Effect National High School Poetry Contest. Over 1900 high school students from across the country entered this annual competition run by Penn State. This nomination represents great achievement in creative writing!
